Hello, And Welcome to K-9 Rescue Partners of Hernando Inc!

We are a family-run rescue dedicated to giving dogs of all breeds and mixes from Hernando County Animal Services in Brooksville, Florida, a second chance at life. We step in to help dogs facing euthanasia, senior dogs in need of hospice care, and mothers and their litters of puppies find safety, healing, and ultimately, their forever homes. We have had an amazing journey and countless success stories for over 50+ dogs. We now hope to find forever homes for the remaining few we have left. I, Maisie the founder of our rescue have been dealing with serious medical issues for a long time. The past 5 years unfortunately being the most difficult. Sadly, I have physically not been able to manage the last of the dogs we have been able to rescue. My husband, Shawn, plays a vital role in the daily care of the remaining dogs with K-9 Rescue Partners, making sure each one receives the extra love, patience, and compassion they deserve. With that said, any and all donations are greatly appreciated in maintaining the care of these babies while they await their forever home. All adoption fees have been waived. Every dog receives the care they need before finding their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, and being brought up to date on vaccinations. Each rescue also receives a thorough medical and temperament evaluation to help ensure they are ready for adoption and matched with the right family. We complete a background check on all potential adopters. We aslo require a home check, as well as a contract to ensure that they will be given the best chance at finding a home where they can live out the rest of their days. For all dogs deserve to be loved, nurtured, and with a family to call their own.
